Simple Filters

Image of your choice.

1. Open you image and copy.

2. Set background color as a light color from your image and the foreground color as a dark color from your image.

3. Open new transparent image 500 X 500.

4. Copy as new layer.

5. Crop and resize you image to your liking and duplicate layer. Hide the new layer and activate the bottom layer.

6. Flood fill with a light layer from your image.

7. Activate middle layer.

8. Effects || Plugins || Simple Filters || 4 Way Average.

9. Activate top layer and reaize 90% All Layers UNCHECKED..

10. Effects || 3D Effects || Drop Shadow.

11. Add 10 pixel symmetric borders, select with magic wand and flood fill with dark color.

12. Invert selection and apply cutout.

13. Repeat cutout changing V/H to -2. Select none and copy.

14. Add 20 pixel symmetric border and select with magic wand. Paste into selection.

15.Effects || Plugins || Simple Filters || Blintz.

16. Invert selection and apply the same cutouts from steps 13 and 14. Select none.

17. Add symmetric 15 pixel border and select with magic wand. Paste into selection.

18. Invert selection and apply cutouts from steps 13 and 14.

19. Add text using the following settings and position wher you would like it.

20. Convert to raster layer.

21. Select all || float || defloat.

22. Apply inner bevel.

23. Apply same drop shadow as before and select none.

24. Resize if needed and save!
