Flooded Kaleidascope Frame


Supplies:

Paint Shop Pro 8
Texture : bt002 or texture of your choice
Filters: Greg’s Factory Output Vol II
Filters – Optional – Flaming Pear Flood
Image of your choice


1. Open your image in PSP (size doesn’t matter at this point) We will resize later if needed. Open the texture bt002 and minimize. Set your Magic Wand at RGB value, Tolerance 0, Feather 0

2. With your eyedropper select two colors from your image – one light & one dark.

3. Go to Image, Add Borders – 2 pixels, symmetric.

4. Flood fill your 2 pixel border your light color. Select None.

5. Image, Add Borders – 10 pixels, symmetric. .

6. With your magic want click on your 10 pixel border and flood fill with your dark color. Do NOT deselect.

7. Go to Texture Effects, Mosiac Glass settings as follows

8. With your border still selected, go to Effects – Texture Effects – Mosiac Antique with the following settings:

9. With your border still selected go to Effects – 3d Effects – Inner Bevel

10. Select NONE

11. Image – Add Borders – 3 pixels.

12. With your magic wand, select the border & flood fill with your light color.

13. Do NOT deselect. Go to Effects – 3D Effect – Inner Bevel with the following settings:



14. Select None

15. Image – Add Border – 25 pixels. Flood fill with your dark color.
Change background to pattern on your materials pallet. Click in the center and bring
up the texture bt002. Flood fill your border with the texture. Do NOT Deselect.

16. Go to Effects - Texture – Soft Plastic using these settings.

50 – 87 – 97 – 45 color white

17. Go to Effects – Texture – Polished stone using these settings:

18. With your border still selected go to Effects – Reflection – Kaleidoscope & apply
these settings:


0 – 0 – 57 – 23 – 6- 2 – 41 reflect

19. Add a 3 pixel border and fill with your light color. Apply the Inner Bevel using the
same settings as Step #13

20. Add an 8 pixel border and fill with your dark color. Apply the Polished Stone with
the same settings as in Step #17.


21. Repeat steps 3 & 4. Inner Bevel setting used in step 13. Invert Selections & Apply
the Inner Bevel again. Select None

22. Add an 8 pixel BLACK border. Apply Soft Plastic, same settings as before.


23. Add a 3 pixel border & fill with your dark color.

23. Resize your image to the desired size. Go to Adjust – Brightness & Contrast –
Clarify settings at 5 - OK.

24. Now that your graphic is resize, Go to Effects – Plugins - Gregs II –
pool shadow and apply these settings:


For those of you who have the Flaming Pear Flood Filter, select the area to be flooded with your rectangle selection tool and use the following settings.

Save and Done!
